Job Information

Rental Coordinator

Reports To: Rental Division Manager

Primary Purpose:

Process and coordinate rental business in a timely manner to ensure positive customer experience.

Essential Functions:

Promptly answers rental calls, quotes rental rates, availability of equipment and coordinate delivery and pickup of equipment.

Work with outside Monroe Tractor Salespersons and Store Managers when quoting rates to their accounts.

Monitor equipment inventory to ensure the machines are ready and properly equipped.

Consult with Credit Manager, promote/set up new accounts and help manage open account.

Verify that customers have proper insurance per company policy.

Process invoices as required (customer invoices, trucking etc.).

Monitor active rentals, identify and promote new opportunities.

Required Experience / Education:

2-5 years’ experience as Rental Coordinator or counter person preferably in the equipment rental industry.

Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Strong verbal communication and sales skills to work with numerous customers on a daily basis.

Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to work closely with other departments.

Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
