At age three, Kristina started bottle feeding a few calves alongside her father, and that was where it all began. In the eighth
grade, Kristina became an active member of the Letchworth FFA where she participated in several events including parliamentary procedure, farm business management,
public speaking and stockman's contest. She also attended district competition, sub-states, states and national conventions, competing on each level. During her
involvement with the Letchworth FFA Chapter she held offices of secretary, reporter and currently serving as president.
Kristina attends Attica Central School and commutes to Letchworth two mornings per week where she works with an agriculture teacher/FFA Advisor and where she found her passion for teaching agriculture. The other
mornings she volunteers at St. Paul's preschool assisting with a four year-old class.
After graduating from Attica, Kristina plans to attend SUNY Cobleskill to major in agricultural business where she plans to earn her associates degree and
then transfer to another college to work on a degree in agricultural education eventually becoming an agricultural education teacher and FFA Advisor.
"Eventually I would like to become an agricultural education teacher and FFA Advisor, so I can give back to the agricultural industry and make a difference in the lives of students. I hope to
be as much as an inspiration to my students as my advisors were to me. Kristina Schie
Congratulations Kristina. We wish you the best with your studies and future goals!
