Wirtgen Group’s Vogele #1 highway paver in the world, lives up to it’s reputation according to A.L. Blades Dolomite shop foreman and paving crews. Blades has purchased 3 Vogele pavers over the years and gives each one of them high marks. Bob Mitchell, paving foreman, runs the most recently purchased Vogele 5200-2i track paver. “We like the paver but what really made the deal was the strong support we received and continue to receive from Monroe Tractor” said Bob. Todd Zeh is also a paving foreman at A.L. Blades, he runs the Vogele 5203-2 rubber tired paver, and although it is an older model, he continues to get Monroe Tractor’s support when he needs it. Rick Porcara, A.L. Blades’ Equipment Manager, couldn’t agree more with Bob and Todd. He knows he has two great paving crews with the best pavers in the industry as well as the support from Monroe Tractor. “The quality of service we receive from Monroe Tractor and the quality of the machine go hand in hand” said Rick , “the ability to get a job done with these pavers and the support we get from MT is phenomenal”.
Monroe Tractor has a dedicated Aggregate Team that understands the business and the importance of keeping customers working. Chuck Cottone, MT’s Wirtgen Product Specialist has many years of experience in the aggregate industry. He is dedicated to helping set up machines and train operators as he has done with AL Blades. His goal is to get the customer up and running, quickly and efficiently. Tom Rizzo, is the newly appointed Wirtgen Sales Specialist. Tom has nearly a decade of experience in the industry and a solid base of Wirtgen product knowledge. Scott Erb, MT’s Wirtgen Product Manager also has many years experience in the industry. Scott works closely with his team to make sure everything is running at 100% especially this time of year when there is only a small window of opportunity to get the paving jobs complete.
Monroe Tractor isn’t the only company showing solid support to their 
customers. Vogele reps travelled from Germany to visit Bob Mitchell at the job site where he was demoing the Vogele 5200-2i track paver. While Bob liked the track paver he offered suggestions how it could better benefit the job’s end result as well as the operator. The Vogele reps listened and took Bob’s input back to Germany to discuss with their engineers. The engineers fabricated the track paver to Bob’s specifications “that was very impressive” says the paving team.
