Primary Purpose: Process and coordinate customer rental of construction equipment in a timely manner to ensure positive customer experience.
Monroe Tractor is well established construction and agriculture equipment dealer with multiple locations in New York and New England.
-Promptly answers rental calls, quotes rental rates, monitors availability of equipment and coordinate delivery and pickup of equipment.
-Work with outside Monroe Tractor Salespersons and Store Managers when quoting rental rates.
-Monitor equipment inventory to ensure the machines are ready and properly equipped.
-Consult with Credit Manager, promote/set up new accounts and help manage open account
-Verify that customers have proper insurance per company policy.
-Process invoices as required (customer invoices, trucking etc.).
-Monitor active rentals, identify and promote new opportunities.
Required Experience / Education:
2-5 years’ experience as Rental Coordinator or counter person preferably in the heavy equipment rental industry.
Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.
Strong verbal communication and sales skills to work with numerous customers on a daily basis.
Detail oriented, highly organized and ability to work closely with other departments.
Must be able to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
