Cross-Training at Monroe Tractor

Helping the Customer

On March 4, we hosted a cross-training session at Monroe Tractor Rochester. Salesmen from 4 of our construction locations came out to learn about agricultural equipment that could benefit their customers.

Case IH Cross-Training Information Session

Leading the session was Rick Engasser from Case IH. He prepared a presentation highlighting the features of Case IH tractors, ranging from 55 to 150 horsepower. This range in horsepower covers 4 series of their tractors.

Rick’s presentation went further than covering the tractors alone. He also discussed the proper application of each series including tasks like material handling, roadside mowing, and mowing with a boom mower. Attendees also learned about the brands of mowers that Monroe Tractor carries.

Behind the Wheel

After the presentation, the group went outside to see different tractors in person. There were 4 tractors on-site that salesmen were able to see, touch, and drive. This allowed them to fully understand each tractor and ask any series-specific questions that they had.

Overall, the group found the training to be very helpful. They now understand the features and options that Monroe Tractor has to offer.
