Customer Training at Monroe Tractor – SMS Software

In the Training Room

On March 11, we invited our agriculture customers to come to Monroe Tractor Rochester for an SMS Training Session. This session was put together to help our customers before going into the planting season.

We saw a great turnout at the session. Growers from throughout Central and Western New York came to learn more. Our goal was for customers to leave ready to take full advantage of their precision farming technology.

The Software

SMS is an agronomy-based, precision farming software that helps growers improve their yields and profitability. The software enables these growers to analyze data to make informed decisions throughout the year. The data collected helps with everything from planting and activation to harvesting and field stewardship.

Ag Leader Instruction

The session was instructed by Ag Leader trainer, Katie Schlake. Katie is based out of Ames, Iowa and was here to help the growers understand their data. Also present to help answer questions was Travis Green, the regional sales rep for Ag Leader.

Katie went through all the features of the program. She demonstrated how it is used and customers got to follow along with her on their own devices. Some customers even took the opportunity to bring their own data to analyze.

We hope our customers gained a better understanding of the SMS Software during this training session. Thank you all for coming!
