Monroe Tractor’s Westborough branch recently hosted its annual Open House, and the event proved to be a standout heavy equipment demo day in New England. With a strong turnout the day was filled with energy, connection, and plenty of opportunities to explore machines up close.
Guests were able to walk the grounds, meet directly with manufacturer representatives, and get hands-on with equipment, attachments, and tools designed to keep their operations moving forward. Our partners, including CNH, Pete’s Tire Barn, Kage, Engcon, Screen Machine, and Digital Iron, played a major role in the event’s success, offering live demos, sharing expertise, and showcasing the latest advancements in heavy equipment solutions.
One of the most talked-about attractions was the James Hetfield Limited Edition TV450B. Designed in collaboration with Metallica’s frontman, this one-of-a-kind machine gave attendees a rare chance to see a true collector’s piece that combines toughness with unmistakable style. Adding to the excitement, the always-popular Rodeo Challenge returned this year, drawing a crowd eager to watch operators put their skills to the test. Mike Keane of M. Keane Excavating came out on top, winning both the Rodeo and the grand prize giveaway of the day, two brand-new generators. A highlight moment was seeing Mike’s son Colm celebrate the win with the Metallica horns in front of the Hetfield TV450B, perfectly capturing the spirit of the event.
The success of the Open House was the result of countless hours of preparation by the Monroe Tractor Westborough team, who worked tirelessly to organize manufacturer booths, coordinate demos, and ensure every detail, from the Rodeo to the giveaways, was ready for attendees. Their dedication, paired with the enthusiasm of our customers and partners, made the day one to remember.
At Monroe Tractor, our mission remains the same: to support our customers and keep them working. Whether through events like the Westborough Open House, dependable service, or the right equipment for the job, we’re proud to stand by the people who keep New England moving forward.
