2020 Speed Disk Demo Day in Batavia, NY

Last week, Monroe Tractor Batavia hosted a Speed Disk demo day at MY-T Acres farm in Batavia, New York. In attendance was Monroe Tractor sales reps, product specialists, manufacturer reps, as well as customers from more than 15 different farms.

About the Event

This event was put together to give Monroe Tractor customers some first-hand experience with the new speed disks we offer. These hot tillage tools offer a variety of benefits for farms of all sizes. Whether farmers are looking to move more dirt, leave residue on the top, get rid of the residue, or something else…  This demo day showcased the machines we carry from a variety of manufacturers for customers to weigh what unit will work best for them.

How It Went + Stand Out Machines

Customers took the time to evaluate the performance of each machine, and we saw two machines shine in the conditions of the field. Overall, the Case IH low compaction disk and the Kuhn Krause Interceptor did an outstanding job leveling the ground.

A special thank you to the Call family of MY-T Acres for allowing us to host an event in their field and lending a tractor! Monroe Tractor Batavia is very lucky to have neighboring farms that are always willing to work with us.

The UFO can go deep to bury a ton of residue or run shallow to accomplish whatever the farmer is looking to do. The double baskets finish the soil to leave a nice seed bed. This unit has a real price advantage.

As a smaller option, this is a noteworthy alternative for a smaller farm with a 100+ HP unit.

Degelman Pro-Till

A great seller at Monroe Tractor that leaves the ground firm. It is built well to withstand a lot of acres with little repair or maintenance costs.

Kuhn Krause Interceptor

This unit is a combination of a speed disk and vertical tillage that leaves the ground level.
