Monroe Tractor recently hosted a live demonstration of the Simex ART 1000 in Bloomfield, NY, bringing together a strong turnout of contractors focused on road repair and surface maintenance. Attendees had the opportunity to see the attachment in action and learn how Simex Asphalt Repair Technology can support faster, more efficient road repairs.
The Simex ART 1000 is designed for the functional restoration of deteriorated road surfaces, including cracking, potholes, dips, ripples, and localized pavement damage. Using Simex-patented Asphalt Repair Technology, the attachment regenerates bituminous conglomerate directly on site by reusing 100% of the existing material without removing the milled material or adding new aggregates.
During operation, the ART 1000 mills and regenerates the road surface, mixes the material with rejuvenator, reduces it to the proper particle size, and prepares it for compaction. Once compacted with a plate or roller, the regenerated asphalt surface can be driven on immediately.
For contractors and municipalities, this technology offers several practical advantages. It helps reduce the need for new mixes and virgin aggregates, limits material handling and waste, supports smaller and more dynamic work zones, and helps minimize traffic disruption. Because repairs can be completed using the material already present on site, the ART 1000 provides a cost-conscious approach to functional road maintenance.
