Hydraulics Training at BOCES Batavia

Monroe Tractor Batavia and our Service Director visited BOCES Batavia for a hydraulics training session. They used an excavator simulator with the classes to allow students to practice their hydraulic control skills.

The simulator taught students the ins and outs of how to use an excavator. They then used their new knowledge to compete in a 4-minute challenge to see how much dirt they could load into a dump truck.

Tom Lewis, Batavia Store Manager, participated with a Farmall tractor. Monroe Tractor provided a Skid Steer for the classes to give students some hands-on learning.

At the end of each day, we talked about the history of Monroe Tractor, our scholarship program, internship opportunities, and tool allowances that we offer employees.

Thank you, BOCES Batavia, for giving us the opportunity to help educate the next generation of workers!
