Career growth in Auburn location!

Monroe Tractor Celebrates Promotions for Nate Wood and Connor Moore at Auburn Location.

At Monroe Tractor, our promise to customers is simple: “We are here to keep you doing your job.” With that mission in mind, we are proud to celebrate two career progressions in our Auburn location. Former Precision Product Specialist Nate Wood is transitioning into Equipment Sales, while Service Technician Connor Moore steps into the role of Precision Product Specialist.

Nate has been with the company as a Precision Product Specialist since 2016, where he has been known for his drive to find solutions for customers. Having prior experience working on a small family farm, he knows firsthand what unique challenges can come up in the field. In his new role, he will be working with the northern parts of Cayuga, Seneca, and Onondaga Counties, as well as eastern Wayne County.

“I am looking forward to having a more concentrated territory and being able to cultivate stronger relationships with customers to meet their needs,” said Nate.

“Nate was a natural fit to move from Precision Ag sales and service to equipment sales,” said Mark Bailey, Branch Manager, “He is customer-focused and driven to find the best solutions.”

Connor will fulfill the Precision role, bringing a broad range of agricultural experience. His background includes working on his family farm and then starting his own, participating in FFA, and earning a degree in Agricultural Business from SUNY Cobleskill. Alongside his degree, he also studied precision agriculture. After graduation, Connor joined the Monroe Tractor team as a service technician and shadowed Nate to gain hands-on exposure to the precision department.

“I have a can-do attitude – I’m not afraid to take on something that I’m not familiar with and learn how that system works,” said Connor, “I’m looking forward to building relationships with our customers and being able to find solutions that best fit their operations.”

“Connor was hired because of his positive attitude and willingness to learn,” said Mark Bailey, Branch Manager, “You can expect him to follow through and not stop until he has you up and running.”
