AgLeader Technology Install at Ithaca Tomkins International Airport

Monroe Tractor Installs AgLeader Technology at Ithaca Tomkins International Airport

Ithaca Tompkins International Airport worked with Nate Wood, Precision Product Specialist at Monroe Tractor Auburn, to install an AgLeader InCommand 800 and SteadySteer onto their Oshkosh brooms. They are the first airport in the country to set up a system like this in their machines.

These systems and Display Cast by Agfiniti have improved their recovery time after storms. Planes can start landing shortly after the snow stops so they can get back to work faster than before.

Josh Nalley, Deputy Director of Ithaca Airport, estimates that it now takes them half as much time to clear their runway.

They are now able to:
• stay straight while plowing
• remain staggered in low visibility conditions
• avoid missed spots that would cause backtracking
