On Friday June 12th, Monroe Tractor hosted a live demonstration of the Ecorobotix ARA Smart Sprayer at Sorbello & Sons Farms in Fulton, NY. The event brought together a group of vegetable growers from across the region to see firsthand how precision spraying technology is helping producers reduce inputs and improve application accuracy.
The demonstration was led by Monroe Tractor’s Joe DeBrock and Nathan Wood, who showcased the ARA Smart Sprayer operating behind a Case IH Puma 165 tractor provided by Sorbello & Sons Farms. The Ecorobotix ARA Smart Sprayer uses AI-powered cameras to identify crops and weeds in real time. Based on that information, operators can apply products with exceptional precision using several application modes. The system can spot spray individual weeds, band product between crop rows, or apply product directly over the crop itself, helping ensure applications are made only where needed.
